Words we used to much but never enough for the right reasons. We break, we fall but we rise that’s what all this is about. Not letting people get us down on things we believe are what makes us who we are. We are all misguided on a beautiful world.
The definition for beautiful means; possessing qualities that give great pleasure or satisfaction to see, hear, think about. Nowhere in that description does it say to bully or torment someone who wishes to just be them self. But, that’s just what this world has come to though hasn’t it , people hiding who they are just because they want to blend into a society that has been so broken down we have become hateful and bitchy. We have become detestable that WE have created racism, homophobia, sexist and just plan spiteful.
Why would anyone want to be apart of that when we can do some much better, so much greater?
“No, you don’t know what it’s like,
When nothing feels all right,
You don’t know what it’s like
To be like me
To be hurt
To feel lost
To be left out in the dark
To be kicked when you’re down
To feel like you’ve been pushed around
To be on the edge of breaking down
And no one’s there to save you
No, you don’t know what it’s like
Welcome to my life”
― Simple Plan
Dystopia – A world where a place or state in which everything is unpleasant or bad, typically a totalitarian or environmentally degraded one.
Today’s world is on it’s edge. They say Black lives matter or white lives matter but why does it have to be one or the other why not ALL LIVES MATTER?
They say it’s wrong for people to love each other of the same sex but what’s it to them. Sometimes we don’t have a choice on how we feel or who we love, love is love and it matters. How is it okay for guys to think that two woman together is okay but then find to guys together disgusting ?
They say religion is baloney. Who are we to say if it is or iif its not, religion comes down to belief so now it’s wrong to believe?
We act on what people say and we shouldn’t these are OUR lives, our lives we waste on caring what people think. The way we look, our life choices but, that’s what they are OUR life choices no one elses. We destroy and discriminate against each other based on skin colour or religion or our relationship status and yet we don’t see the damage it does to all those around us. The broken family’s left in tears, the heartbreaking people who kill themselves because there afraid to be who they are. The will they lose everyday because of harsh words and actions towards them. This is not a great world but a broken one, this is not the great human race we have been lead to believe. We have all heard about all the amazing leaders that have lead throughout history and the wrong choices made in the past yet we don’t learn from them.
We are so blinding in hate we forget how to love and forgive and to be kind and happy towards each other. We forget to be human we are NOT animals, yet we act exactly like them. We are greedy and selfish all the trades we don’t need and soon all will be left is the broken dystopia in our wake. We can be great again if only we point out the real problems in this world.
“Hate looks like everybody else until it smiles”
― Tahereh Mafi
I’ve had some catching up to do and some discovering, time to think about what’s real and what’s not because sometimes that’s the one battle we can’t seem to win. It all comes down to what we want not what we have, some of us are ignront that we forget life is mealy only the start to what we can discover not about ourselves but about everything in general. Like space, planets, stars and other forms of life and maybe there are still things on this planets we haven’t discovered yet. The conclusion of the matter is the fact there isn’t one, there is no end even if we are not here to wittness it.
Life is not just about humans or animals it’s about everything that breathes, everything that is around us. Sometimes looking out into the stars helps us realise that our problems are not really that big and thats okay because only then do we realise there are bigger things out there wherever they may be and i’m not saying our problems don’t matter i’m just saying sometimes we need to see the bigger picture. The picture that is our very own history – the world as we know it.
“Look up at the stars and not down at your feet. Try to make sense of what you see, and wonder about what makes the universe exist. Be curious.” – Stephen Hawking
Fear, is the only thing we are facing now. A fear for our lives and it needs to stop. Religion is not about who lives and who dies, ‘We DON’T get to play God’- it’s not about what’s wrong or what’s right because in the end there is no wrong or right. If someone was to kill a murderer does that make it right or does that make you the monster as well? There is no right or wrongs in this world there is only our individual opinion on what are actions could lead to, We can only guide the ones who are broken and help them see themselves and what this world could give them if they allowed it but, there are those who are to far gone to even think of such a choice. What they have done and what they have been promised are only to be seen as greed and manipulation, we can’t change the past but we can change the future.
We need to start by recognising the problem, these days it’s only about who has the most power or money or weapons but that is not living that’s dying. We are allowing ourselves to die out, we are allowing ourselves to been extinct. We were meant to be free to only feel loved and happy but now it’s all about surviving. We can change and we can be better if only there were more who agree, more people who don’t only see red and want to be happy. We need to keep teaching, learning and evolving into better and greater things and not to be greedy when we know we can be.
We need to come up with ways to solve not to destroy. We should be able to learn from each other not to kill each other. We were meant to swim not sink, to fly and not fight. To stay on the right side of things only when we become broken do we lend a helping hand but no we have crossed so many lines our directions are foggy and hard to see. Compassion shouldn’t be a weakness it should be a gift to love something or someone is a step closer to where you are meant to be and to have someone love you is a blessing because being loved is all you really need to keep you alive.
When we are broken we immediately give up because we seem to think that is the only option out there for us, we leave our shattered pieces on the ground when we know the glue is right in front of us. We are only human in the end and we are alright!
“Love myself I do. Not everything, but I love the good as well as the bad. I love my crazy lifestyle, and I love my hard discipline. I love my freedom of speech and the way my eyes get dark when I’m tired. I love that I have learned to trust people with my heart, even if it will get broken. I am proud of everything that I am and will become.” – Johnny Weir
We always seem to forget the beauty within reason, the question we ask ourselves everyday – Do I look good? Who knows, I’ll tell you, YOU.You know because all in all that’s the only opinion that matters. As long as you are comfortable and free in what you wear and who you are then who cares what everyone else thinks. My mum used to tell me whenever we used to go clothes shopping that it didn’t matter what she though because she wasn’t the one wearing the clothes and she is right all that matters is how I feel in what I wear which should be the same as you should all feel.
For all of us to be who we are we have to learn to accept who we are, some will find it hard because of what they are going through and that’s okay because all it means is that your strength is being tested, it’s all about how we survive the outcome. A lot of people will not understand who we are but that doesn’t mean they can’t learn to and as I have said before it is okay to be weird because weird is ‘Wonderful’
“Don’t be afraid to be awesome. Sometimes being weird and different is good. When you think you’re working hard, there is always someone else working harder, so always be yourself and know your stuff.” – Jacqueline MacInnes Wood
Time is constant, a never ending travel for those around us. The tick that reaches you and makes you doubt your decisions. The noise that keeps us up at night, a noise that allows us to continue to walk to our destination. A walk into the darkness, a walk that captures each of our broken moments and our precious memory’s. We lie awake to try to make sense of it all. To know if everything we do in this lifetime benefits us for wherever we are going next. Time can be wasted but it can also be forgotten but does that mean we shouldn’t remember, that we should just let it lay to waste.
They say we only live once and that time shouldn’t be wasted but does that mean we stop walking towards what we know will be a challenge and have fun or work for what we deserve. So know your self as a soldier and keep marching on.
“We didn’t lose the game; we just ran out of time.” Vince Lombardi
Ever felt like everything we do has no real meaning, that everything we do is just the cause behind another ones motive? like were puppets for society to laugh at because that’s what it sure feels like.
We are always judged on the action we take upon ourselves but never really thought for ourselves. We’ve become blind to our natural beauty, our heir to a better world a better inner self. No change can take back what we have already done, we have limited people’s lives on what they can and can not do and forgetting freedom. The freedom to be free the right to act, to speak and to think for ourselves. We forget who we are and are forced to be someone, something we never wanted to be. Something we have always feared we would become and later on we become the thing that’s scares us the most.
We change the way we look to make others feel better. we change who we want to love and what we want to become to comfort those who seem to think there life is above everyone else’s. I say it needs to stop because we need to love ourselves for WHO WE ARE not who someone wants us to be based on a choice of votes.
Strength does not come from winning. Your struggles develop your strengths. When you go through hardships and decide not to surrender, that is strength. – Arnold Schwarzenegger
